Introducing

The Stockholm Local Intelligence Society

A society & gathering for
Personal & Local AI Computing

Happening in Stockholm, Sweden. The AI capital of Europe.

Bring Your GPUs Out for a Walk
Meet Likeminded People. Own Your Intelligence.
No VCs. No Networking.

Has This Ever Happened to You?

Are you maxing out your credit card on tokens, again?

Do the words Qwen, MiniMax or Kimi 2.5 mean anything to you?

Do you carry a picture of Georgi Gerganov in your wallet?

Are you planning to vibefile your taxes this year using some crazy agent?

Is your guestroom starting to resemble a datacenter?

Did you just buy a robotic arm?

Have you ever wondered what flatpack robotics would look like?

Do you browse r/LocalLLaMA with your morning coffee?

Then this is for you.

The First Meeting

March 15, 2026 · Stockholm

Location TBD

Sign Up Here

Our first gathering. Let’s swap ideas, hang out, see what people are working on and figure out what we want this to be. Structure will be minimal, if you are interested in demoing something, we’d love that, write us, and keep it to 10 minutes max.

Bring Stuff

Bring a GPU or two.
Bring an ASIC or an FPGA.
Bring your robotic arm.
Bring a household robot.
Bring your autonomous flying thing.
Bring a laptop with something running on it.
Show us how you squeezed Qwen into your smartphone.
Bring your lean mean vibecoding machine.

What are we going to do with all this intelligence?

The models are no longer the bottleneck. We need new ideas.

Nobody knows what to do with all of this yet. Not even Sam Altman.

What would you do if you had a model equally good as Opus 4.5 running on your desk, 24/7, off your wall outlet? What will the leap from text-based chat tools to a GUI look like? What is the wildest thing you can now do that wasn’t possible two years ago?

This is our chance to reclaim our computers.
Let’s use AI to accelerate our best tendencies.

Why Local?

Don’t let THE MAN own all your tokens.
Don’t borrow all your best thinking.
Let’s see what you do with intelligence too cheap to meter.
This is a new computing paradigm.

Why pay for each API call when you can run the model all night on your desk.
What if you got your answer immediately.
What if your model worked offline.
What if you could also use your AI for dumb stuff because it was yours.

AI = Amateur Intelligence.
We mean that as a compliment.

Exploring

What does the home of the year 2035 look like?
How would you build a phone without a browser and an app store?
Is there a world after LLMs?
Is there a world after mobile?
How will we crack continual learning?
If this is a new computing paradigm, what are the new primitives?
